___________________________

The Advent Memorial Tree is on display beginning December 2 in the narthex.  It is created from white poinsettias. Next to the tree is a list of the names of our church members who have passed away since the beginning of Advent last year. The tree is our congregation’s gift of remembrance to families whose joy of the season is tinged with sadness over the absence of a loved one. We hope you will take some time during the busy holiday season to view this tree honoring the memory of our deceased members.

Angel Tree display to benefit Thornwell Home for Children will be in the Gathering Space from November 25 through December 9.  Please take a card and return your gift, unwrapped, with the card attached by December 9 so the gifts may be taken to Thornwell in time for Christmas.

The Chrismon Tree represents aspects of the person, life or ministry of Jesus and the life, ministry or history of the Christian church and will be displayed in Fellowship Hall.  The Chrismons were made with loving hands by the First Friends Small Group.
