Help us get books to children
at schools that need our support
Books and a Buck (a ministry of Local Outreach) is collecting books for children in Jasper, Hampton and Allendale Counties. The books are for schools that serve children in preschool through grade 12.
There is a bin for the program in the church workroom (across from the receptionist's desk). Books can be put there weekdays 9 AM-4PM.

First Presbyterian supports many local organizations
in fighting hunger in the Lowcountry!
"Feed my Sheep" program, is a monthly program on the first Sunday of each month. FPC members donate
canned goods and other non-perishables. These items are collected and shared with other organizations to stock the shelves of food pantries in Hilton Head, Bluffton and sometimes other areas throughout our county.
In addition, a percentage of member-giving is allocated each year for food pantries and food kitchens - such as the Bluffton Soup Kitchen which is open to anyone in need on Wednesdays and the Sandalwood Community Food Kitchen on Hilton Head.
"Thank you for your caring and compassion in giving so freely. May God continue to bless you and your good works"
These are the words of Rev. Dr. Nannette Pierson, Founder of the Sandalwood Food Pantry
