FPC Mission Trip to Help with Continued Restoration in Asheville Area

FPC will sponsor a mission trip Oct 5-11 to Montreat, NC to assist in areas near there devastated by Hurricane Helene. We will join volunteer teams continuing to clean up and build back. To participate or with questions, contact Mary-Stuart Alderman, 843-422-3603. More info below.

About the event
We will be working through The Fuller Center, a nonprofit which is coordinating teams of volunteers to help with hurricane remediation. Our work will be determined by the needs in the Swannanoa Valley area at a time closer to the dates when we will be there. We'll be housed at Hickory Lodge at Montreat, a Presbyterian retreat and conference center. Team members must be 16 or older and will pay their own expenses, including $150 for accommodations at Hickory Lodge, plus transportation and several meals.
