About Us

Since our founding in 1957, First Presbyterian Church has gone through multiple transformations. Built on a strong foundation laid by the original 19 charter members, our church is now a 1,200-member congregation. We are located mid-island on a beautiful campus which also houses a day school and thrift store. To many we are known as the "community church," as we host the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra and Hilton Head Choral Society in our 1,000-seat sanctuary.

 

We are a diverse group of members working together to glorify God through worship, education, and service. We are dedicated to a dynamic agenda, providing services and programs for people of all ages. We support a great number of local partner organizations as well as projects all around the world.
