Our Presbyterian Identity
We are part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), a denomination rooted in Reformed theology and governed by elders, both clergy and laity, who lead together in a connectional system that links our congregation to the wider church. We believe in the Great Ends of the Church: proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing the family of God, maintaining worship, preserving the truth, promoting social righteousness, and showing the Kingdom of Heaven to the world. Out of that belief flows a commitment to mission at every level, from our own congregation to the presbytery, synod, and General Assembly, through prayer, giving, and service.
