"We are undergoing new construction that will add over 6,000 square feet to our facility," says Executive Director Jackie O'Bannon about the structure that will expand Antioch Education Center's (ACE) program in Ridgeland.
FPC's Local Outreach Ministry (LOM) has long supported AEC, both financially and dedicated volunteers who give of their time. FPC also provides school uniforms to Jasper County school students.
"Together, we continue to do great things. Thank you for believing in AEC's mission" added Bannon.
The mission of the Antioch Educational Center (AEC) is to assist members of low-income families in their transition from a state of dependency to self-sufficiency by offering programs and services in the areas of education, job preparedness, and health and wellness. Since 2008, literally tens of thousands have been assisted through AEC. One of the programs offered is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree program.
