Did you miss the first Jazz Vespers program featuring Tuffus Zimbabwe? The artist, who is the pianist for the “Saturday Night Live” house band, a composer and educator, took part in both worship services on Sunday, June 23. That evening more than 100 people gathered in the sanctuary with Tuffus who performed pieces composed by his great grandfather. The legendary Reverend Daniel Joseph Jenkins founded the world-famous Jenkins Orphanage Band that shaped the development of the Charleston style of jazz. To access the recording, click here.
